Passbook-Integrated Event Ticketing Is About To Get Better Thanks To Startup Tito

April 12, 2013
In the near future it may be easier than ever to register for events and manage event tickets, thanks to Tito, a start up that is offering up simple yet powerful event software. Tito’s event managing application allows event holders to conduct business without a hitch. Selling tickets is quick and easy, event pages are entirely customizable, and the system incorporates Stripe or PayPal for instant payments. Ticketing is entirely flexible, with options for custom discount codes, links to secret tickets, and lottery events. While the software itself isn’t going to be of much interest to the average user, it may just come in handy the next time you go to purchase tickets for a conference or event. For example, in addition to sending PDF tickets, Tito has Passbook integration. Passbook tickets are automatically generated with every order and can be downloaded to an iOS device during the purchase process. If you’ve used Passbook for an airline ticket, an Eventbrite occasion, or as a store rewards card, you know how handy digital access can be. In the event arena, Passbook is entirely underutilized, which is what makes Tito a startup to keep an eye on. Tito has used several tech conferences to test its services, and it is now ready to move into public beta, so you might possibly be seeing it for yourself sometime soon.
