Cydia Tweak: Luna Brings Do Not Disturb Toggles And Better Notification Banners

If you’re a fan of Do Not Disturb in iOS 6, you should definitely check out this new Cydia tweak. Luna was created by Ryan Petrich and Sentry and it gives you quick access to Do Not Disturb.
This tweak places a toggle for Do Not Disturb on the lock screen and in Notification Center, but not in a typical fashion. These toggles are completely hidden until you swipe down and release on the lock screen clock or within Notification Center. This will allow you to quickly enable Do Not Disturb from just about anywhere on your device.

Luna also includes features to enhance banner notifications when Do Not Disturb is enabled. These “Nocturnal Banners” will keep your screen clean and only appear as a small black bar within the status bar when a notification is coming through. It’s a much better alternative to the standard iOS banners when you’d prefer not to be bothered by intrusive pop-ups. Within the Settings app, you’ll find options to enable or disable Luna on the lock screen or in Notification Center. There are also options to configure Nocturnal Banners and their respective alerts. Overall, I think Luna is a great tweak that definitely enhances the user experience within iOS and adds some quality features for Do Not Disturb. Currently, Luna is available in the BigBoss repository for $1.99 and compatible with iOS 6 or higher. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.
