Kickstarter: Impressive iOS Game Abducted Looks To Be Out Of This World

June 6, 2013
One new Kickstarter project hopes to bring an exciting, new game to the App Store called Abducted. Described as "an action, adventure, mystery, horror game with a focus on a deep storyline, immersive gameplay as well as a mixture of classic adventure game and RPG-like mechanics," iDevice owners have the option of preordering the first episode of Abducted for $5, provided the project reaches its funding goal of $20,000. Creator Sunside, Inc. explains:
Abducted is a game in which you play an ordinary person thrust into extraordinary circumstances. Abducted by aliens and taken thousands of light years from home, you have one ultimate goal: Escape. But you have so many unanswered questions... How did you get here? What is this place? Who took you and why?
Particularly, in Abducted players must interact with "The Arm" - an alien computer embedded in the protagonist's forearm, which serves as the primary source of guidance and information in the game. Through asking The Arm questions, and following its instructions and advice, users are able to unravel the mysteries of Abducted. Featuring an immersive environment, impressive graphics, and addictive gameplay, Abducted looks to be an interesting project and one we hope eventually comes to life. While a number of backing options are on offer at the project's Kickstarter page, a pledge of just $5 will buy backers a taste of Abducted. Below, we've included a trailer for "Episode 1" of Abducted.
