This New App Is Your Passport To The Travel Channel's TV Everywhere Service

The Travel Channel has just released its first TV Everywhere app. Appropriately called Watch Travel Channel ("inspired" perhaps by Watch ABC), the new app lets you stream the network's programming content right on your iDevice anytime, anywhere. The app is updated daily with the latest clips and full episodes from the Travel Channel. Note, though, that in order for you to watch the latest episodes, you first have to log in with your credentials on any of the app's partner TV service providers. At the moment, the participating TV service providers are AT&T U-verse, Bright House Networks, Comcast XFINITY, DIRECTV, Optimum, and Time Warner Cable. The app also lets you add any show, host, destination, or interest to your Watchlist. Your Watchlist is updated automatically every time new content is made available. Also, it can hold videos for you to resume at any time. Watch Travel Channel also features full TV schedule display, closed captioning, AirPlay support, and syncing of video viewing across devices via iCloud. Watch Travel Channel is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
