Turn Springfield Into 'Summerfield' In The Simpsons: Tapped Out

June 13, 2013
A new update has just arrived for The Simpsons: Tapped Out. And this update lets you turn Springfield into Summerfield. Actually, no. But said update does invite you to spruce up your very own Springfield and give it a summery look and feel. The latest update to The Simpsons: Tapped Out brings new decorations, buildings, characters, quests, and land expansions. The land expansions come as part of the new Waterfront Property, opening up more than 30 new plots of land, some of which are located right on the water. The new decorations and buildings, over 20 of them, let you:
Bring your town to the water’s edge and beyond with the Springfield Squidport. Enjoy rides on the Ferris Wheel, dine on deep-fried delicacies at the Frying Dutchman and much more.

And regarding the new quests, The Simpsons: Tapped Out poses the question: "Will the Sea Captain find his place on dry land or will Homer’s insatiable hunger put him out of business and adrift at sea?" Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, The Simpsons: Tapped Out is available in the App Store as a freemium game. The game's last couple of updates were highlighted by the celebration of Whacking Day and the addition of Agnes Skinner. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
