That Was Snappy: Pebble Snap Gets Its First Update, Adds Social Integration

August 28, 2013
Pebble Snap, the $2.99 iPhone application that allows iDevice owners to control the Camera app using a Pebble smart watch, has just received its first update. Now, users of the application can enjoy social network integration, including support for Facebook and Twitter sharing, along with a number of additional improvements. These include enhancements to location services and push notifications. However, support for social networks is easily the best feature added in Pebble Snap 1.1.0. Thanks to the update, Pebble Snap users can now easily share their Pebble-captured images with friends from within the third-party application itself. As outlined in the app's release notes, here's a complete list of changes made in the update:
  • Share your last snap with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Location services integration improved
  • Push notification services integration improved
Here's a snap of Pebble Snap in action: As mentioned, Pebble Snap can be downloaded in the App Store for $2.99, and is optimized for the iPhone and iPod touch.
