Olloclip Launches Its 3-IN-1 Macro Lens For The iPhone 5, iPhone 5s

December 4, 2013
Olloclip has launched a new quick-change lens for Apple's iPhone. Called the 3-IN-1 iPhone Macro Lens, the new accessory is compatible with the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s, and offers three macro lenses in one single product. The 3-IN-1 iPhone Macro Lens can be purchased from Olloclip for $69.99. As Olloclip explains at the product's Web page:
Here are 3 quick-change lenses of superior quality, designed for taking sharper close-up shots with the iPhone. The Macro 3-IN-1 is engineered to deliver more edge-to-edge clarity, greater depth of field, nicely diffused light on the image, and less pincushion distortion.
Three magnification options are available in the 3-IN-1 iPhone Macro Lens: 7x, 14x, and 21x. The latter macro lens allows users to capture "details and textures not easily seen with the naked eye," Olloclip explains. Olloclip's 3-IN-1 iPhone Macro Lens is made from a combination of aircraft-grade aluminium and soft plastic; the accessory also uses precision ground, coated glass multi-element optics for the lenses. Though a bunch of cheap, knock-off imitations are available on the market, Olloclip's higher priced lens accessories use more expensive, higher quality materials resulting in an overall better product. The lens maker adds:
While high quality components like these are expensive to make, we believe our users appreciate a quality product that provides excellent results and is a pleasure to use.
As mentioned, Olloclip's 3-IN-1 iPhone Macro Lens can be ordered online for $69.99, and is compatible with the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s.
