CES 2014: Juice Up Your iPhone's Battery With uNu's Aero And Ultrapak Chargers

January 11, 2014
If you're looking for more ways to juice up your iPhone, check out a couple of new offerings from uNu, fresh off this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The first, and perhaps more notable, one is the uNu Aero Wireless Charging Case. It's a rechargeable iPhone battery case that charges wirelessly in conjunction with a special charging mat. The 200mA battery case charges wirelessly thanks to contact charging, which is made possible by the full circuit connection that's formed by the two nodes at the back of the case and the surface of the mat. The Aero is fully expandable, so it can accept multiple charging mats — at home, at work, and in the car. The uNu Aero Wireless Charging System is available for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s for $99.95 at myunu.com and on Amazon. The other major offering from uNu is the uNu Ultrapak, which is a fast-charging 3000mA battery pack. Using similar technology to that of Tesla, the Ultrapak charges 80 to 90 percent faster than normal. The Ultrapak will be available at the end of February for $59.99 at myunu.com and on Amazon. Check out both battery-charging accessories from uNu in the video below, straight from CES 2014 and courtesy of our very own Dom: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here.
