Cydia Tweak: Give Your Messages App A New Look With Messages Customiser

It’s a great time to be a jailbreaker, since countless jailbreak apps and tweaks are in the process of reaching the Cydia Store following evasi0n7’s release. One of most recent is Messages Customiser, a brand new jailbreak tweak that allows users to give their built-in Messages app a brand new look.

Once downloaded and installed, this free package makes it possible for users to adjust the color of message bubbles in the Messages app. You can choose different colors for SMS messages and iMessages all from within a dedicated pane inside of the Settings app, and gradients can even be applied to particular colors, too.

Here’s a full list of the different colors available as of Messages Customiser 1.0:

Dark Blue

Light Blue

Green

Red

Yellow

Orange

Pink

Purble

Teal

Dark Grey

Light Grey

Black

More minor adjustments, such the ability to enable Contacts app images, can also be enabled or disabled from within the jailbreak tweak.

Messages Customiser is the latest in a long line of jailbreak tweaks to have reached the Cydia Store in recent weeks. Some of the best packages include BioProtect and AppLocker, Assistant Unrestrictor, BatterySafe, and Virtual Home.

If you’re interested in downloading Messages Customiser, be sure to get the spelling right when you’re searching in the Cydia Store (it’s “Customiser,” not “Customizer”). The jailbreak tweak is available free of charge and is hosted by the ModMyi repository.
