Gameloft's Captain America: The Winter Soldier - The Official Game Storms Onto iOS

Last February, Gameloft announced that it would come out with an official mobile game to tie in with the theatrical release of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," the latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, the game is out.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - The Official Game, as it's officially called by Gameloft, is indeed available now on iOS.
Featuring an original story co-written by Marvel Comics writer Christos Gage and graphics inspired directly by the comics, the tactical combat game lets you play as Captain America himself. As Cap, you must lead your S.H.I.E.L.D. Strike Team, including Black Widow and Falcon, to thwart a massive attack on the world perpetrated by various villains, including the Winter Soldier.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Captain America: The Winter Soldier - The Official Game is available now in the App Store for $2.99. Already showing in Europe and other parts of the world, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is scheduled to hit theaters in the U.S. on Friday, April 4. Earlier this month, Marvel announced that it would be updating the popular free-to-play turn-based battle game Avengers Alliance with new content based on "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy."
