Twelve South Introduces A SurfacePad For The iPad mini

March 4, 2014
Apple accessory maker Twelve South has definitely been busy. After introducing the Compass 2 Stand back in February, the company has today unveiled the SurfacePad for both generations of the iPad mini. Made with premium Napa leather, the case protects both sides of the smaller tablet. A minimal case, a special adhesive holds the cover in place. If you ever need to remove the SurfacePad, it won’t leave any sticky residue behind. With hidden magnets located inside the case, users can take advantage of two different media viewing angles. The built-in kickstand also provides a stable angle for typing. Buyers can purchase the SurfacePad now on Twelve South’s site for $69.99. Three color choices are available – black, red, and white. A version of the SurfacePad for the iPad Air will be available sometime this spring. If you’re interested, a SurfacePad is also available for the iPhone 5/5s. Our own Bryan M. Wolfe reviewed that case last year.
