DeNA Unveils Go Go Ghost, A New Mission-Based Side-Scrolling Auto-Runner
Another week, another new game from DeNA. This time, the popular mobile game developer and publisher has released Go Go Ghost on iOS.
Basically, Go Go Ghost is a side-scrolling auto-runner. But rather than being an endless runner (like every other game released on the App Store, it seems), Go Go Ghost is a mission-based platforming runner.
Vaguely reminiscent of Rayman Jungle Run, Go Go Ghost has you helping a ghostly character with a flaming skull and detached limbs sprint through Ghost Ville in a quest to rescue his family, who have been eaten by monsters.
Take a look at the game's trailer: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here.In each of his runs, you have to accomplish a mission by collecting coins and other objects (à la Jetpack Joyride), chasing down enemies, or defeating evil bosses. To help you on your way, you have a variety of sprightly supporters collecting gems and unlocking power-ups for you.
