Find Your Dream Job With LinkedIn’s New Job Search App For The iPhone

June 19, 2014
LinkedIn has just launched a new, standalone app to help users with the sometimes-agonizing job search process. LinkedIn Job Search brings a number of powerful features to iPhone users. In a blog post, LinkedIn shared more on why the app was created:
More than 40 percent of you are currently using mobile to look at jobs on LinkedIn. We get it. It can be hard to search for a job while you’re at your desk, not to mention the potentially awkward conversation with your current boss. Our goal is to help make this process easier for you and to help you be discreet. Everything you do within the app will be completely private and not shared with your network.
Users can quickly search for jobs based on title, location, or specific key words. The app also recommends jobs based on saved searches, other jobs you’ve viewed, and your LinkedIn profile. Some advanced search criteria can filter positions by title, location, company, industry or seniority level. The actual application process is easy using a current LinkedIn profile. Users can also turn on notifications for when a new job matches what they are looking for or when a recruiter has viewed an application. Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, LinkedIn Job Search can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. It’s only available in the United States, for now.
