Make Like John Cleese In Monty Python's The Ministry Of Silly Walks

June 26, 2014
And now for something completely different ... Remember that sketch from "Monty Python and the Flying Circus" where John Cleese plays a bowler-hatted civil servant with various awkward gaits? Well, that sketch, titled "The Ministry of Silly Walks," has been adapted as an iOS game. The game, called Monty Python's The Ministry of Silly Walks, lets you amble and dawdle as far as you can through the streets of London while dodging obstacles and collecting gold coins. It's not so much an endless runner as an infinite walker. Check out the trailer for the game: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. With its stiff upper lip, Monty Python's The Ministry of Silly Walks boasts the following key features:
  • Warning! Highly addictive
  • Voice acting by the Minister of Silly Walks himself, Mr John Cleese
  • Randomised obstacles and scenery - Never play the same game twice
  • Use your banked coins to buy sillier suits and enhanced power ups
  • Sumptuous 3D Graphics
  • Realistic physics and ragdoll
  • Regular updates
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Monty Python's The Ministry of Silly Walks is available now on the App Store for $0.99.
