July 23, 2014
Hootsuite, the official iOS client of the popular social media management service of the same name, has just received a notable update. Essentially, Hootsuite lets you update, schedule, and monitor your activity across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Foursquare all from one place. With the app, you can update your social networking accounts, schedule your posts to your followers, and monitor your networks and pages. With the latest update to Hootsuite, it's easier than ever to create posts for your social networks with the app's revamped compose screen featuring a new profile picker. On the new compose screen, you can use the new profile picker to select the social networks you want to send to. You can also tap the pin beside a profile option to mark it as favorite and keep it selected by default every time you compose a new update. In addition, when composing a post for Twitter, the keyboard now automatically includes "@" and "#" symbols for your mentioning and hashtagging needs. The new version of Hootsuite also features a redesigned image viewer, allowing you to see photos in full screen and easily share them. It also includes localization support for Italian. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Hootsuite is available on the App Store for free.
