Apple adds Tony Bennett and other artists to iTunes Festival London 2014 lineup

Apple has added a number of new artists to its lineup of performers at its iTunes-sponsored concert series scheduled to be held throughout this September at The Roundhouse in London.

As noted by The Loop, the company has announced notable new additions to its iTunes Festival London 2014 lineup, including: Mary J. Blige, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, deadmau5, Placebo, Ben Howard, Nicola Benedetti, Nick Gardner, Nick Mulvey, Rae Morris, Lisa Hannigan, Little Dragon, James Bay, Hozier, Wolf Alice, Miloš, Alison Balsom, Foy Vance, and Tony Bennett.

Notably, Bennett is set to perform a couple of weeks ahead of the release of its upcoming collaborative album with Lady Gaga, who kicked off last year’s edition of Apple’s annual music festival.

The aforementioned additional artists join the performing acts previously announced by Apple.

As it stands, the iTunes Festival London 2014 lineup is as follows:

  • Sept. 3 – David Guetta + Clean Bandit + Robin Schulz
  • Sept. 4 – 5 Seconds of Summer + Charlie Simpson

  • Sept. 8 – Robert Plant + Luke Sital-Singh

Note that Apple is yet to announce the performers for Sept. 19 and the final night, Sept. 30.

Tickets to the iTunes Festival London 2014 are free for winners of competitions run by Apple and its local media partners. All of the festival’s 30 shows are going to be streamed for free on Mac, PC and iOS devices and on Apple TV via iTunes and the official iTunes Festival app.
