Camera+ update brings filter improvements, fixes Flickr sharing

Popular third-party camera app Camera+ has just been updated with the move to version 5.2.

The update adds a new adjustment to the Vignette effect in The Lab photo editing suite. Photographers can now select the size of the vignette along with the intensity.

Both the Soft Focus and Film Grain effects have also been improved, and the results should look more realistic. The Clarity Pro effect should no longer be inappropriately boosted under low intensity levels.

Finally, the update fixes Flickr sharing with the app.

Developer tap tap tap also teased some upcoming big updates with iOS 8 officially arriving sometime this fall.

Designed for the iPhone/iPod touch, Camera+ can be downloaded now on the App Store for $1.99. Before today’s update, version 5.1 arrived back in February. That brought other filter changes, a widescreen shooting mode, and more.

The iPad/iPad mini version was last updated back in January and can be downloaded for $4.99.
