Rise Alarm Clock is now free to download via the Apple Store app

August 6, 2014
Apple is offering another opportunity to grab the spectacular Rise Alarm Clock app for free. You can download it now via the Apple Store app. After downloading the Apple Store app, select the “Stores” tab and pick the nearest store location. You’ll then see a link titled “An app for college” with the Rise Alarm Clock icon. If you don’t already have the store app, it can be downloaded now for free. It’s designed for the iPhone/iPod touch. Rise Alarm Clock originally landed in late 2012 and immediately got our attention. The title was named as our App of the Week shortly after its release. It was also named as one of AppAdvice's Top 10 Best Paid iPhone apps of that year. The last major update to the app arrived in late 2013. Version 4.0 brought an iOS 7 optimized UI and the ability to set multiple alarms with an in-app purchase. With the universal app, users can select to wake up to a number of sounds like a favorite song from iTunes, a custom melody, or the sound of the woods. Shaking the iOS device from the lock screen turns off the alarm.
