Amazon updates its Kindle app for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

The folks at Amazon have rolled out an update for their Kindle iOS application, adding support for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

You can pick up the update now on the App Store, and it’s free to download. As you’d expect, the release, Kindle 4.5.1, offers a user interface (UI) that’s been optimized for the bigger screens of Apple’s latest handsets.

If you’re a big Kindle user who’s just invested in a new iPhone, you’ll appreciate the update. Take a look:

Besides the aforementioned iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support, “bug fixes and stability improvements” have been made in the Kindle app’s most recent update.

As mentioned, Kindle for iOS is available free of charge on the App Store. It’s optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
