Wreck the halls this holiday season in the match-three puzzle RPG Gems of War
Gems of War cordially invites you to wreck the halls with skulls and mana this holiday season.
The game, a match-three puzzle RPG from Puzzle Quest 2 and Marvel Puzzle Quest developer Infinite Interactive, has just received its holiday update, which happens to be its first update since its launch on iOS last month.
The update introduces guild chat, guild stats, iCloud support, bug fixes, and various improvements to loading and animations. It also adds the ability to set your hero’s weapon from the team setup menu before a puzzle starts.
And in keeping with the festive spirit of the season, the update also brings holiday music and decorations along with a holiday event and a holiday sale.

Running through Monday, Jan. 5, the holiday event, dubbed “Wreck the Halls,” features Ragnagord the Reindeer Overlord and his magical staff called Silent Night. The former, which is available for 120 Glory, is a new troop with a new spell that explodes gems, and the latter, which costs 60 Glory, is a new epic weapon exclusive to the event.
As for Gems of War’s limited-time holiday sale, it offers up to 100 percent bonus gems when you purchase from the in-game store.
Gems of War is available on the App Store as a free-to-play game for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
The game is published by 505 Games, the publisher of the iOS edition of the popular sandbox game Terraria, which happens to be on holiday sale for only $0.99.
