Recently, we reported that cord-cutter favorite Sling TV would add HBO content by Saturday, April 11. Things have been moving fast at the Dish Network subsidiary, though, and it was announced today that HBO is now available to Sling TV customers. This addition makes Sling TV the only live Internet TV service to offer the premium network’s content on both a live and video-on-demand basis.

Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV, said, “We know Sling TV is the only way most of our customers can watch HBO shows like ‘Game of Thrones’ live. Adding HBO’s live and extensive on-demand content to our lineup highlights our continued commitment to bringing customers the very best programming.”

Sling TV customers who subscribe to the “Best of Live TV” for $20 a month or select Sling International programming packages can add on HBO for $15 per month. With the “Game of Thrones” season 5 premiere just days away, the addition of this premium content will surely be a big hit for those who want to watch the previous seasons of the series for the first time or again.

Subscribers to the HBO content will have access to three streams of HBO content at no extra cost, in addition to the single stream dedicated to its core and add-on packages. HBO on Sling TV includes live entertainment and the same extensive video-on-demand library the network provides on its other platforms.

HBO is available across all Sling TV-supported devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, current-generation Roku players, Roku TV models, Xbox One, Android, iOS, Macs, and PCs.
