Good-bye Mr. Numb Thumb, Snapchat gets a nice update
Snapchat users have worn out their thumbs for way too long to viewing lengthy stories, well no more. An update today, July 1, not only brings easier Snapchat story viewing, but some great Snapcode enhancements and security improvements as well.
Snapchat tap brings feeling back to your fingers
The first update we mentioned is a good one. In order to view snaps or stories, just tap. You no longer have to agonize over pressing and holding the screen. This means your thumbs or fingers will recover from the previous version of the app.
Snapcode updates rock
Next, there are some Snapcode improvements that are pretty awesome. You can easily add a selfie to the center of your Snapcode, so everyone can see your beautiful face. Just tap your Snapcode and smile. Then, easily export your Snapcode to another app or your favorite social media spot. Finally, when you see someone else’s Snapcode somewhere, you can quickly add them as a friend by taking a screenshot of their Snapcode. So remember the updates: smile, tap, export, screenshot, and add.

Good job Snapchat, these are terrific improvements and updates. For snapping photos or taking videos and sharing them with your friends, Snapchat is the way to go. Chat with a friend when you are both around and even talk face-to-face.
