The app will randomly generate an interval, and you must correctly play it back to earn points. If you didn’t catch it the first time around, you can play it again. The app is designed for all musicians, no matter if you’re a beginner or professional, since you can customize the experience to your level.

Sometimes You Die ($1.99 → Free, 21.9 MB): You must die in order to survive in Sometimes You Die. It’s for anyone who enjoys clever puzzles.

In most video games you can die over and over without any effect. That’s not the case in Sometimes You Die. On the surface it plays just like any other platform game, requiring you to leap over chasms and avoid spikes. But when you die it’s not always an unfortunate event. You can use your corpse as a means to conquer otherwise impossible obstacles. The game includes 80 levels, hidden content, and moody lighting effects.

Sometimes You Die is available for free today only (10/27). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 20 ratings.

PicIt! Pro ($1.99 → Free, 13.8 MB): Find your best photos and relive memories with PicIt! It’s for everyone from casual photographers to globetrotters.

PicIt! grabs every photo in your camera roll and automatically organizes them into four different categories: MapIt!, StateIt!, DateIt!, and ClockIt! Photos from each category can be viewed and shared. PicIt! also includes a trophy case section that displays your total amount of photos, most popular photography month and hour, total number of states and cities visited, and top five states.

Hyper Race ($0.99 → Free, 110.7 MB): Race around tracks at upwards of 800 MPH in Hyper Race. It’s for fans of racing games like F-Zero.

Strap in and try to keep pace with the fastest jet cars in the galaxy. You’re able to choose from six different jet cars, multiple control options, and the amount and difficulty level of your opponents. Then pick one of the six tracks and race across the finish line as quickly as you can. The game includes three single player modes, and a multiplayer mode where you actually work together with a friend to achieve the best possible time.

Hyper Race is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 24 ratings.

Chemio – A Student’s Chemical Reference ($1.99 → Free, 10.8 MB): Get to know the elements with this powerful chemical reference app. It’s for more advanced students with a desire for science.

With Chemio, so much chemical information is available at your fingertips. Tap on an element to view detailed information including its name, atomic mass, electron configuration, atomic radius, density, molar volume, melting and boiling temperatures, and much more. Specific groups of elements can be highlighted to make discovery easier. The app also includes a solubility table, molar mass calculator, and interactive electron configuration models.

Chemio – A Student’s Chemical Reference is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 155 ratings.
