iPhone:

KaleidaCam ($1.99 → Free, 2.4 MB): Create awesome kaleidoscopic works of art with this photography app. It’s for anyone who wants to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Just point your iDevice’s camera at a subject to see it in a totally new way. Everything is rendered in real-time, so snap a photo if it’s something you want to capture forever. The app includes four customizable kaleidoscope styles, full resolution images, and a variety of sharing options.

KaleidaCam is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 152 ratings.

Universal:

Cavernaut ($1.99 → Free, 48.7 MB): Pilot your spaceship through a maze of caves in order to reach the surface in Cavernaut. It’s for fans of classic arcade games like Lunar Lander.

Guide your spaceship though the caves by tilting to steer and tapping to fire your thrusters. Keep an eye out for landing pads as you make your way to the surface, because although your spirits may be high, your fuel will always be running low. Watch out for hazards like laser beams and mines, and try to collect as many luminum crystals as possible on your journey. They’re the universal currency in your part of the galaxy that will allow you to upgrade your ship.

Cavernaut is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 16 ratings.

IQ Mission ($2.99 → Free, 151.9 MB): A collection of challenging logic puzzle games. It’s ideal for brain training.

IQ Mission is a ton of fun in short bursts. Each of the eight cities has a different form of puzzle to solve. For completing each task, you’ll receive a part of the map. Once the map is complete you’ll unlock the secret source of the Earth’s energy. The game includes 128 puzzles, eight informants, and achievements via Game Center.

IQ Mission is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 147 ratings.

Tiny Defense ($2.99 → Free, 137.9 MB): It’s up to you to save the Minirobots’ beautiful planet by strategically setting up your units in this 2-D defense game. It’s for those who enjoy games like Plants vs. Zombies.

Your enemies are everywhere, but there’s hope as long as you have the Minirobots on your side. You can place units almost anywhere in the side view grid, just as long as you place ground units on the ground and air units in the air. Collect energy crystals to expand your army even further and show those machines who really rules Green Planet. The game includes 40 robot types, five environments, 150 levels, 30 mini-games, and achievements via Game Center.

Tiny Defense is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 12601 ratings.

iPad:

A to Z Monsters -Alphabet Learning for Kids ($2.99 → Free, 56.4 MB): This educational app offers a fun way to learn the alphabet. It’s for children ages five and under.

These little monsters will teach your child the alphabet. Tap on a letter block to release the monster that’s associated with it. Then go catch it! The letter will be pronounced when tapped on, as will the name of the monster associated with it. It’s simple, clean fun.

A to Z Monsters -Alphabet Learning for Kids is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 11 ratings.
