When measuring your heart rate, just place your index finger over your iDevice’s LED flash and camera. The app will display your current BPM in real-time during the test. When the test is complete, you’ll have the chance to record when you measured your heart rate, how you felt, and attach any other details. Results can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, or email. The app also includes a daily reminder option, and history that can be filtered.

Numbered tiles indicate how deep the crater goes. Simply tap on a tile to begin, and swipe over the numbered tiles to fill them in. Lower numbers indicate a lower point. All you have to do is get all of the numbers up to 10. Just don’t accidentally corner yourself, otherwise you’ll have to start all over. The game includes a total of 64 levels with multiple themes.

Each effect was built from the ground up by a different talented artist in order to ensure compatibility with a wide range of photos. Effects can be favorited for quick access later on, and you’re able to learn more about each artist with a tap. Formulas also allows you to adjust the intensity of each effect, and apply three dozen different frames.

You’re able to participate in eight different sports using intuitive tap and flick controls. Challenge AI-controlled opponents or take on a friend locally on the same device. The game includes eight sports with tournament and exhibition modes for each, three difficulty settings, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Heavy Blade ($1.99 → Free, 163.4 MB): Go dungeon crawling through 3-D environments in Heavy Blade. It’s for fans of hack and slash gameplay.

Heavy Blade allows you to go dungeon crawling from a first-person perspective. Armed with only your trusty sword and magic abilities, you must hack and slash every ghastly creature that stands in your way. The loot that drops from your enemies can be used to upgrade your character and weapons. The game includes a total of 30 dungeons to explore.
