Binty's Black Book

• Binty’s Black Book is a mobile app directory that allows a space for businesses, entrepreneurs and creatives to share snippets about their business and skills including their social media handles & communication with other businesses and consumers. Taking on a cosmopolitan approach of being citizens of the world, Binty’s Black Book seeks to merge all contacts into one reliable place. This app allows for businesses to upload any relevant videos & images that they would like shared on their profiles. These entrepreneurs are able to categorized their business, share if their business is a service providing business & even specify both the service they provide and their availability for booking requests. Additionally, these businesses have the option highlight if they are a Black-owned business.
• Broken into categories including but not limited to photography, apparel, fitness, art and more, this directory centralizes and highlights varying entrepreneurs. Additionally, Businesses and creatives are able to add events the are hosting to the general calendar, allowing consumers with personal profiles to then favorite the events, adding it to their respective in-app calendar. Consumers who are not creating business profiles also may create personal profiles with both videos and images.

• Loops are friend requests or “looping” requests that both consumers and businesses can make to other consumers and businesses alike.
• Timeline Both personal profiles and business profile users share a Timeline where they are able to post images and videos all from positions they may be hiring to a general friendly image post. Hiring for a position? Share this information on the Timeline.
• The Swap System feature allows for collaboration between businesses. Opting into the swap system let’s other users know that a particular business/entrepreneur/creative is open to collaboration and networking. This is done by proposing a swap pitch, similar to how one would pitch an idea. Upon accepting, users are then able to engage in conversation surrounding the proposed swap idea.
• Events Calendar is a hub where business profile users are able to both Add Events that they are hosting and favorite other events while personal/ consumer profile users are able to favorite these events and have it added to their personal profiles.
