Epidemik is a crowdsourced data utility that gathers disease information and informs and prepares its users about growing diseases in their region. Users have the ability to receive notifications about changing trends, view a real-time sickness map, access personal health trends, and get a quick idea of what illnesses are in their region with the trends feature. To get access to these features, a user just has to report when he or she is sick. Additionally, if you do not know if you are sick, we have a built in diagnosis feature that can help inform you about what you might have. All the data is anonymous and shared via the app to other users and research groups. Our hope is to help citizens and researchers better understand common disease trends across the country so they can prepare and protect themselves in time. With so much data that often goes unreported, Epidemik offers a breakthrough solution to tackle disease once and for all.
