Funtastic Animal Flashcards brings you more than 140 animal flashcards with fun, illustrated text. The name of each animal is illustrated using specific characteristics of the animal to help children recognize the word. This app can be used to expand children’s vocabulary or to teach them animal-themed sight words. It can be used in different ways for children from several age groups, from toddlerhood, right through preschool and even up to early elementary school age.

Funtastic Animal Flashcards takes you on a photographic journey through seven categories of animals. It includes photos of commonly known animals as well as photos of some exotic animals in every category. The high quality photos are preceded by separate word cards, embellished with clever illustrations in an easily identifiable large print. Each word card is accompanied by a professional voice recording to help children learn the name of each animal with the correct pronunciation.

The app makes use of colorful visual as well as audio stimulation to help children remember the names of individual animals better. The illustrated word cards help children learn through association. Children enjoy spotting the identifying characteristics on the word cards.
