App Store Description

Hunger in the Wild is a strength & conditioning gym located in Dallas, Texas. While we incorporate a wide range of training services, our reputation is clearly built on the back bone of Olympic weightlifting. We’ve built our success upon three main principles.

1. World Class Technique
* Weightlifting is an extremely technically demanding and skill driven sport. The complex movements obviously require professional and proper coaching.
* HITW Group Coaches use the app to preload notes for athletes with limitations.
2. Intensity Prescriptions
* Group classes can often exceed 20+ people with only 2-3 coaches total. How could it get any worse?
*  Class attendees are often inspired people who literally drool at the mere thought of adding more weight.
* Coaches can safely monitor weight selections and use data driven info to help educate athletes to make more local and thought decisions.
3. Exercise Videos
* The HITW Weightlifting System is a modern derivative of the early Cuban Olympic Weightlifting System. With more than 190 variational exercises used in advanced programs; the app allows us to easily bridge youtube videos to each individual movement.
* HITW coaches demonstrate in person technique multiple times before suggesting that the athlete continues to watch the youtube videos after training.
4.A Personalized Touch
* Rather than marketing the mobile app as its own product/service etc. HITW simply uses it to add to its user experience.
* Linked YouTube videos show real life HITW coaches performing the lifts they are prescribing.
* Although our coaches are always instructed to physically write the workout on the whiteboard. We encourage class members to use the app to help make exact weight selection and save time by reducing the necessary math involved
5. Please see the Hunger in the Wild Testimonials listed below:
“I was really on the fence about the app, but I freaking love it! One of the problems I always have is not knowing how to building a workout, so I would go, push some things around- having no idea how much weight to use, do some boring cardio, and go home feeling like I wasted my time. NO MORE! Went at 230, used the app, had a kickass workout, did some clean, home and feeling accomplished! NO MORE! Went at 230, used the app, had a kickass workout, did some clean, home and feeling accomplished! The app is a genius idea. You should really promo the features- I do not know if people understand all that it does. I think the perception is that it just gives you the day’s workout. Giving me the amount of weight has made a huge impact on my workouts, and, I think, the best feature of the app.”
