App Store Description

The Samaritan Alphabet, or Samaritan Script is a direct descendant of the Paleo-Hebrew script, which was used by ancient Israelites (both Jewish and Samaritan).
The Samaritan alphabet is used for writing the holy texts of the Samaritan religion, such as the Samaritan Pentateuch, which is written in Samaritan Hebrew, which is a little different from other varieties of Hebrew.
It has also been used to write Samaritan Aramaic. It is still used today in Nablus and Holon by the remaining Samaritans.
The script is written right-to-left, and has vowels written as accent marks above letters.
