Skapa is the neurodiverse child routine scheduling and reward tracking app

Skapa Companion

by Connor Lindsey

What is it about?

Skapa is the neurodiverse child routine scheduling and reward tracking app. Derived from the Scandinavian word ‘to create,’ Skapa allows you to create customized routines of all types and at all times of day for your child. Then, based on the completion of their routines, your child will receive a coin that they can redeem for custom awards you create within the app. That way you as a parent aren’t having to track all your child’s routines and the rewards you ‘promised’ them.

App Store Description

Skapa is the neurodiverse child routine scheduling and reward tracking app. Derived from the Scandinavian word ‘to create,’ Skapa allows you to create customized routines of all types and at all times of day for your child. Then, based on the completion of their routines, your child will receive a coin that they can redeem for custom awards you create within the app. That way you as a parent aren’t having to track all your child’s routines and the rewards you ‘promised’ them.

Skapa allows you to create a caregiver profile and as many child profiles as you would like. Through the caregiver profile you can maintain the various routines and rewards for each child, while the child profile will only allow them to see their routines. Our notification feature will send you and your child alerts 15 minutes before as well as right when a routine should begin. That way they will never forget what they should be doing and when they should be doing it.

Skapa is created by volunteers, friends, and supporters of the neurodiverse population who saw a major lack of innovation in a critical space. Parents and caregivers are often left to their own devices when it comes to raising a neurodiverse child. We are determined to put the power back into the parents hands through their own mobile devices!
