Southern Gayles is an 18-hole championship golf course located in Athens, Alabama. Southern Gayles plays 7070 yards from the longest tees, with a par of 72, a course rating of 71.8, and a slope of 124. There are five sets of tee boxes to ensure an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. Originally opened in the mid-1990s, Southern Gayles has experienced design enhancements and improved agronomy to meet today’s standards in conditions and playability. We consistently strive to make your playing experience one that will keep you coming back.

Located in north-central Alabama, Southern Gayles is a short drive from Huntsville, Madison, and other communities.
