The App ‘Touristic car routes Flanders Fields’ takes you along the most important sites and places of the Great War in Flanders Fields.

The app contains pre – defined routes (No man’s land, Ypres Salient, Free Fatherland ...), but it’s also possible to compose your own personal tour based on your own intrests. The app contains more than 100 points of interest, out of which you can make a choice, based on a list, a map or a theme. The app is illustrated with archive material such as photos, texts and audio fragments. On some points of interest there is the possibility to use augmented reality to make the link between today and the situation during the Great War. During your quest, you will meet persons who will tell you their own Great War story.

The app has an offline navigation tool to guide from one point to another in your tour through Flanders Fields.
