Apple Releases iOS/iPadOS 14.5.1 With App Transparency Bug Fix

Apple has just released the minor iOS/iPad 14.5.1 update. To update, you can head to Settings > General > Software Update.

In the release notes, Apple says the software fixes an issue with the App Tracking Transparency feature.

This update fixes an issue with App Tracking Transparency where some users who previously disabled Allow Apps to Request to Track in Settings may not receive prompts from apps after re-enabling it. This update also provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.

Apple released iOS/iPadOS 14.5 last week with a number of new features including the ability to unlock an iPhone with a nearby Apple Watch.
