Bring Classic Books to Life With Augmented Reality in Bookful
The new app Bookful wants to bring classic children’s stories to life with some decidedly modern technology - augmented reality.
Once downloading the apps, you can select a book at point your iOS device at any surface. There’s no need to have an actual copy of the book to use the app.
The book will then come to life with a number of different animations and activities depending on the title.
Along with augmented reality, there is a fun soundtrack to help round out the overall experience.
Especially for younger children who haven't learned to read, Bookful is definitely a great way to help them get excited about reading and learning.
Bookful is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
One book, DK Children’s Encyclopedia, is included with the app. The others like The Talks of Peter Rabbit, The Tale of Benjamin Bunny, Dinosaur Days, and others can be unlocked with in-app purchases. More titles are promised in the future.
