AirPods arrive
After a long delay, Apple AirPods are arriving this week. The truly wireless headphones went on sale last week with the first deliveries arriving on Wednesday, Dec. 21. Apple retail stores could start selling them beginning tomorrow, Dec. 19.

On the App Store
The best of the year
To celebrate another great year on the App Store, AppAdvice is prepping its annual lists of the best apps and games of the year.
We’ve already published our favorite Apple TV apps of 2016.
On Monday, we’ll present the best free iPad apps for the year, followed by the best paid iPad apps on Dec. 21. On Tuesday, Dec. 20, and Thursday, Dec. 22, we’ll take a look at our favorite free and paid iPhone titles, respectively. Until then, happy holidays.
The annual iTunes Connect shutdown runs from Dec. 23 through Dec. 27. During that time, you won’t be seeing new apps or app updates. The shutdown also means that no bug fixes or price changes.
