Kids can improve their language and reading skills with some famous superheroes in a new app.
Designed for ages 7-11, Marvel Hero Tales features both Spider-Man and Ms. Marvel in a unique way to tell stories while helping younger readers learn.
The story-driven format will allow players to personalize their own experience. Each character will level up after completing activities like word collection and comprehension.
Those words are then used to help kids to co-author their own story by building sentences to create a comic book panel. Word choices will affect the outcome of their mission and the look of the comic.
A completed comic is also saved so it can be read later or shared with family and friends.
Each of the different storylines will adapt depending on the age of the child. For example, younger readers will see shorter words and language.
Marvel Hero Tales is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
A subscription is required to access all the features of the app. There are two different options - $1.99 per month or $18.99 per year.
