What I Liked
This is a great all-around speaker that looks cool even when not in use. There are six different light patterns, most of which are moving patterns. One of them moves to the beat of the music; the rest just flow. It’s fun and mesmerizing to watch. The color show is visible even in bright light, though of course, it looks more stunning in a darkened atmosphere.
The Bluetooth setup is easy, and it works flawlessly. The speaker goes quite loud with no sound distortion that I could discern. You can even use the speaker as a phone if you like. If you get a call while you’re listening to music, you tap the pause button to pause the music and pick up the call. I tested this feature and was able to hold a conversation comfortably. The control buttons are well-marked and set up intuitively.
What I Didn't Like
The control buttons are flush on one end of the speaker. This looks good and adds to the sleek aesthetic, but also makes it slightly difficult to see and press the buttons.
Oittm’s speaker is expensive for a non-designer brand name product. It is a worthwhile purchase, but still, the price tag may put it out of some people’s budgets.
