If your house is anything like mine, Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, are movies that get replayed over and over during the holiday season.
One of our favorite parts of Home Alone 2 is the Talkboy cassette recorder that Kevin McCallister uses for some hysterical results.
Thanks to the popularity of the movie, a real Talkboy became a hot toy soon after the film's release in 1992.
And the fun toy is stepping up to the digital age with the Talkboy app.
You can easily record your voice and then speed it up or slow it down with the slider. It’s even possible to crop the audio and then share with family or friends. As a fun touch you can also add an image to the sound bite and then use filters for some fun results.
The app should bring a smile to the young, or young at heart. Just don't try ordering room service with it.
Designed for the iPhone, Talkboy can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. There are optional in-app purchases to remove adds, add an extra cassette, add filter control, and unlimited media share length.
