Slack Unveils Revamped iPad App That Takes Inspiration from the Desktop Version
The popular workplace app Slack has just received a nice new update focusing on improvements for the iPad.
A Better Sidebar
Taking inspiration from the desktop version of the app, iPad users can now take advantage of a two-column layout.
So when you select a channel or direct message from the sidebar, the content will appear in the main pane.
A number of improvements have also arrived for the left sidebar. Some of those include the ability to long press a channel named see a context menu providing a number of options.
Section preferences are also synced with the desktop version, keeping the sidebar consistent no matter where you use the app.
Improved accessibility options arriving on the app include VoiceOver and DynamicType support.
