Mafia: The Game

This app is designed to a companion app to the iOS, iPadOS, macOS and web apps. As such, it only allows users to host a game (not actually play/join one).

As the game is multiplayer-focused, it is difficult to reproduce a testing environment for App Review. I have created a demo mode of the app to exhibit the core gameplay. To activate this:

1. Select the gear icon on the main page
2. Enter “52510283” for the demo mode key
3. Select the cross icon to close the settings page
4. Select make a game

This will make a game that is almost identical to a normal game but with the following changes:

- Connected players not ‘real’
- Game id and QR code will not work to join the game
- Adding a bot is unavailable

Should you wish to test the functionality above that is not available in the demo mode, remove the demo mode key from the text field in settings and make a new game. Note that using this ‘normal’ mode will require multiple devices in order to join the game and meet the minimum player threshold.
