While it might be raining where you are, the weather on Mars is most decidedly different. And with this fun app, you can look at the true weather conditions right now on the Red Planet.
Better bring a jacket. Along with showing the current weather conditions, you'll also be able to see a number of stunning shots taken from the Red Planet.
What is it about?
Viewers can see the latest and most up-to-date climate information from Curiosity Rover on the surface of the planet. You can view the conditions while looking at a number of images of the planet captured from orbit and on the surface. You can manually flip through the pictures or let them autoplay. While the app itself is free, an in-app purchase will unlock 25 additional images of the Red Planet.

This app was built by Drew Smith of Smith & Sons with design assistance from Adam Hosp. Its icons are used with permission from NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS and the top shelf graphic is courtesy of NASA/JPL-Caltech/Univ. of Arizona.
Weather data is from The Mars Atmospheric Aggregation System (MAAS), which is descrbed by its creators as "an API built to further the development of applications that want to leverage the REMS weather data being transmitted by the Curiosity Rover on Mars."
