Stations at St. Thomas TV is a companion app to Stations at St. Thomas, developed for mobile devices. The content is the same as for the mobile device: photographs of the Stations of the Cross by Virginia Maksymowicz, professor of art at Franklin & Marshall College, text from the Episcopal "Book of Occasional Services", meditations for children, and the comments of the artist.
For the "living room experience," the app is completely voiced. For the "Book of Occasional Services" version, all versicles and responses, scripture and collects are read by members of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Lancaster, PA, USA. For the children's meditations, the children's responses as well as the narrator and words of Jesus are read. The viewer may wish to read along with the children or the congregational responses.
The viewer may tap on the left or right edge of the Siri remote to go to the preceding or following Station, or on the top of the remote to switch between the "Book of Occasional Services," children's meditation, or artist's comments. Tap the Menu button to return to the opening screen (dismiss the dialog box) and again to exit.
