Firemint, the developer of the widely popular and hugely entertaining Flight Control, has announced details of what their upcoming title update will contain, and if you are a fan of the game, the update is guaranteed to please.
The update will contain two of the most fan requested features, online highscores and the ability to save your game.
The online leader boards will cater to the different ways people play. Firemint will be utilizing its own cloudcell.com technology to offer location based leader boards and a skill based ranking system. This is the same technology that is used in I-Play’s Fast & Furious as well as Firemint’s own upcoming racing title, Real Racing.
The addition of an autosave feature will allow Flight Control to automatically save your progress if you leave mid-game, giving you the worry-free ability to take calls or just play whenever you have a free moment.
The update should be available at the App Store by April 24th. We will do our best to inform you the moment the update is available.
This is just the beginning for Flight Control, Firemint intends to support the game for as long as people keep playing. Future updates will follow that will add new airports and aircraft to the game.
Flight Control is currently the number one selling paid application at the App Store. It is available for the introductory price of $.99.
