Many next generation iPhone rumors have indicated that Apple is planning on adding all kinds of video recording, editing, and uploading capabilities, but that's just it, they are simply rumors.  A new application by developer GP Apps brings you a small step closer to that dream without having to wait a single second longer with their new application LifeCasting. lifecasting_screen Just to be clear, LifeCasting isn't able to edit or upload any recorded video as such a thing isn't currently possible on non-jailbroken iPhones.  LifeCasting is, however, able to create video slideshows of any photo contained on your device, and it even has the ability to upload your newly created spectacle to YouTube. Simply import a series of photos from your photo library or take some new photos using your iPhone's camera and put them together in a slideshow however you please.  You can then add audio narration if you choose to spice it up a bit.  Once your new video is put together just the way you like it, LifeCasting is able to transfer the video to your computer via WiFi or you can upload your new mp4 video to YouTube.  The application allows you to choose and change all kinds of YouTube upload settings such as whether to make it public or private, add tags, choose the category, and whatever else needs to be done to ensure that everyone is able to see your video.  Once it is uploaded, send your friends and family YouTube links to your newly crafted video. LifeCasting is available at the App Store for the introductory price of $.99.  The application is only available for the iPhone, sorry iPod touch users.
