If you have been holding off on purchasing
SimCity for the iPhone since its release in December 2008 because the price was just too rich for your blood, it looks like your wait may be over.
SimCity launched in 2008 at the price of $9.99. It has since dropped in price to $7.99, then $5.99, and now the low, low price of only $4.99. Alright, so it only dropped another dollar, but it's hard to imagine it going much lower. EA has pretty much created their own pricing scheme with their games. They currently offer their premium titles like
Tiger Woods PGA Tour for $9.99, their mid-priced games like
Trivial Pursuit and now
SimCity for $4.99, and their low-cost games like
Yahtzee for $2.99. EA also has a couple free games, but they are either ad-based or Lite versions. Basically,
SimCity is priced exactly where it should be.
Just so you know,
SimCity isn't on sale, this is just its new price. If you don't know much about
SimCity and would like to learn more, we have a full
review of the game from when it was initially released.
Have any of you been waiting for just the right time to purchase
