Minigore Gameplay Preview Video And Screenshots

Minigore is a new game for the iPhone and iPod touch that is being developed by Mountain Sheep and published by the one and only Chillingo.  The game has been in development for quite some time, but it should be available any day now.  To hold you over until that day comes, Chillingo has released a few details for the game, a new gameplay trailer, and some screenshots. Minigore is a 3D survival shooter that puts you in the shoes of a little square fellow named John Gore.  Gore finds himself surrounded by creatures known as Furries, and you must protect yourself from them at all costs. Furries come in three different shapes and sizes.  There is a small Minifurry, a regular Furry, and a Giant Furry.  Giant Furries are the worst because they split into several regular Furries when destroyed, those regular Furries will then split into Minifurries when destroyed as well.  As you can imagine, it's not easy being John Gore. Minigore features gameplay mechanics that are very similar to iDracula, where your left on-screen thumbstick controls your direction of movement while the right one controls the direction of fire.  Minigore also features some adorable yet gruesome graphics, and a unique art style. Mountain Sheep has stated that they have many planned updates for the game that include new gameplay mechanics and boss battles so this one shouldn't get stale. Minigore is expected to debut sometime in June for the price of $0.99.
