Yesterday we reported that iPhone 3G S pre-orders were beginning to ship from Shenzhen China, and that they were scheduled for delivery on June 19th, which is the official launch day. Today we have even better news.
We have confirmed that some iPhone 3G S pre-orders are scheduled to be delivered as early as tomorrow, June 17th, which is a full two days earlier than expected.
Apple is still taking pre-orders via their online store, and they also still state that pre-orders will arrive on June 19th with free shipping, so it is not too late.
I have to say, this is the speediest free shipping I have ever seen, but until the box arrives at my door, I won't be satisfied. We will keep you informed on if/when the iPhone 3G S's start arriving tomorrow, and maybe we will even post a few unboxing photos for those of you who are interested.
