June 20, 2009

Steve Jobs is back in the news, and once again it is because of his health. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Steve Jobs received a liver transplant about two months ago to treat an undisclosed medical condition.  According to the report, Jobs received the transplant in Tennessee. Jobs, as most of you already know, took a leave of absence in January after he had been diagnosed with a hormone imbalance that had caused him to lose a substantial amount of weight.  At that time, Jobs stated he would return from his leave of absence near the end of June. Whether or not these new reports are true, the Wall Street Journal indicates that Jobs is still on track to return to Apple near the end of this month, so nothing has really changed.
