Metal Gear Solid Touch Now On Sale, But Only For A Limited Time
August 13, 2009
For those of you who have been dying to try Metal Gear Solid on your iPhone or iPod touch, now is your chance. Konami has finally decided to throw Metal Gear Solid Touch into the App Store's bargain bin, but only for a limited time.
Metal Gear Solid Touch is an on-rails shooter, which means that you won't be controlling your characters movements, just the on-screen reticule. This isn't exactly a bad thing, at least for some players, because the game still sports the usual Metal Gear Solid enemies and story. Metal Gear Solid Touch features 20 stages spanning across five different areas, multiple titles to earn, and 50 exclusive wallpapers for your device.
Metal Gear Solid Touch is normally priced at $7.99, but you can now pick it up for $2.99. The sale price will remain in effect until August 15th. If you need some help deciding if it's worthy of a purchase, give the Lite version a try. It contains the opening of the story and three stages.
